The Rocket Summer “Of Men and Angels” Dallas Release Party

This past Monday Bryce Avary of The Rocket Summer released his newest album “Of Men and Angels”

Super. Amazing. Go buy it now if you haven’t already.

Bryce held a CD release  and tour kick off at the Granada Theater in Dallas Friday! Several local bands opened as well as Matt Thiessen of Relient K! Matt did an awesome job serenading us with old and new Relient K material as well as some Counting Crows!

While Matt was singing us Counting Crows, Bryce decided to come out on stage and join him… briefly, but albeit, fantastiscally.

Then Analog Rebellion came out and played for us!

Then.

Bryce.

Avary.

The Rocket Summer.

The man we had all come to see.

This next picture is probably my favorite from the night…

Bryce played “Blackbird” by the Beatles on his acoustic guitar. It made my night. I love this song.

Drums. Heck yes!

The Granada was full from the front all the way to the back where I was standing. Truly one of the best concerts I’ve been to in my life!

Way to go, Bryce! What a truly amazing album! Thanks for an amazing show!!! Come back to play Dallas soon! We love you!

Bryce just tweeted this :) Your pictures are great – you must have some zoom lens! Looks like an incredible show, would have loved to have been there. Downside of living all the way in Canada, haha.

I like your photos! I’m glad you had a wonderful time. I live in Canada and I remember when he came down to Toronto and played at The Phoenix….it was the most amazing concert I have ever been to. Everyone knew all of the words to his songs. I can;t wait to see him at Warped Tour this year. ^_^
