For Christmas this year my mom gave me me cake decorating classes! I’m pretty sure that its one of my favorite gifts I’ve ever been given. I’ve always been a fan of the cake shows on T.V., Ace of Cakes, Cake Boss, (though, the drama drives me crazy! He makes amazing cakes!), and Amazing Wedding Cakes on WEtv. I always catch myself thinking, man, I wish I could do that! I expressed this to my mother several times over the course of about 12 months.
The first night of class our teacher showed us how to pre-ice our cakes! Wow. It’s not that hard once you know what your doing but its looks easier than it really is!
